First Aid

The Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic provides 24-hour emergency care for seriously ill exotic pets.  Sometimes it is difficult to know when your pet needs emergency care.  The handouts below give some basic guidelines on helping to make this decision, along with some basic first aid guidelines.

If your emergency concerns wildlife, that is injured or orphaned wild animals that have been found outdoors, please call one of our licensed wildlife rehabilitators. These specially trained individuals are skilled with first aid and care of wildlife.
